Chapter 3. USING THE MARC EDITOR
Saving Records
Once you have created a new record, or finalized changes to an existing record, you must save the record to your library or consortium database. If you are performing extensive record editing, you may wish to save your work periodically.
NOTE: Unsaved changes made to the currently active bibliographic record are shown in bold type.
To save a record:
- Click the Save button in the Toolbar to save the record to your
library or consortium database.
- The message “Record updated” shows briefly at the bottom of the screen.
