Adding an Accelerated Reader - Point Level Qualifier
Use the Accelerated Reader - Point Level qualifier to narrow your search to materials associated with a specified point level.
To add an Accelerated Reader - Point Level qualifier:
- Click the Expand Qualifier icon for the Accelerated Reader - Point Level qualifier to expand the qualifier options.
- The Accelerated Reader - Point Level list shows a series of point level ranges for which titles are available.
- To limit search results to titles associated with one or more
predefined point level ranges, select the checkbox for each range by
which you wish to limit your search.
- A checkmark indicates that titles associated with the point level range will be included in search results.
- An empty checkbox indicates that titles associated with the point level range will not be included in search results.
- Clicking a checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.
- The Search (####) Records button refreshes to display the number of titles that will be returned by your qualified search.
- Use the Accelerated Reader - Point Level text boxes to specify a custom point
level range.
- To limit search results to a single point level:
- Enter the desired point level in both Accelerated Reader -
Point Level text
boxes.
Example:
- Enter the desired point level in both Accelerated Reader -
Point Level text
boxes.
- To limit search results to a range of levels:
- Enter the starting level in the first Accelerated
Reader - Point Level text box. Enter the ending level in the second
Accelerated Reader - Point Level text box.
Example:
- Enter the starting level in the first Accelerated
Reader - Point Level text box. Enter the ending level in the second
Accelerated Reader - Point Level text box.
- To limit searches to items with a point level less than or equal to
a specified level:
- Enter an asterisk “*” in the first Accelerated Reader -
Point Level text box.
Enter the ending level in the second Accelerated Reader -
Point Level text
box.
Example:
- Enter an asterisk “*” in the first Accelerated Reader -
Point Level text box.
Enter the ending level in the second Accelerated Reader -
Point Level text
box.
- To limit searches to items with a point level greater than or equal
to a specified level:
- Enter the starting level in the first Accelerated
Reader - Point Level text box. Enter an asterisk “*” in the second
Accelerated Reader - Point Level text box.
Example:
- Enter the starting level in the first Accelerated
Reader - Point Level text box. Enter an asterisk “*” in the second
Accelerated Reader - Point Level text box.
- Click the Update Search Records
button
to update the Search (####) Records button.
- The Search (####) Records button refreshes to display the number of titles that will be returned by your qualified search.
- To limit search results to a single point level:
- When the desired qualifier has been specified, click the Collapse Qualifier icon for the Accelerated Reader - Point Level qualifier to collapse the qualifier options.
