Chapter 1. INTRODUCTION
Organization of the User Guide
This User Guide is intended to provide an understanding of common features and functions used throughout the RESEARCHit, SHAREit and VERSO systems. The User Guide is divided into five chapters, as follows:
Chapter 1 – Introduction. This chapter provides general information related to hardware and software requirements, system availability, and optional features.
Chapter 2 – Login and Logout. This chapter provides procedures for system login and logoff, for entering your permanent password, and for setting the display language.
Chapter 3 – The Web Interface. This chapter provides an overview of the web interface, and procedures for using the Staff Functions menu, the Staff Dashboard, the Quick Links menu, and the staff screen toolbar.
Chapter 4 – Message of the Day. This chapter provides the procedures to access and view a “Message of the Day.”
Chapter 5 – Software Conventions. This chapter provides the procedures related to the use of standard features, functions and tools used throughout the RESEARCHit, SHAREit and VERSO systems.
