Chapter 6. STAFF OPTIONS

   

 


Configuring the Staff Dashboard

To configure Global Staff Tab Options:

NOTE: The Global Tab Order can be modified by Customer SuperUsers only.

  1. Select Settings from the UX Admin menu (see The UX Admin Settings Menu for details).
    • The Settings menu displays.
  2. Select Staff Options.
    • The Staff Options page displays.

  1. To rearrange the tab order:
    • Position the cursor on the Drag to change order icon Move Tab Icon on the tab you wish to move.
    • Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag the tab to the desired position in the list. Release the mouse button.
      • A “Success” message shows briefly at the top of the screen.
    • Repeat as necessary to reposition additional tabs.
  2. Click the Back button Back Button, as needed, to return to the Settings panel.
  3. Click the X button to close the Settings panel.

NOTE: The menus on the Staff Dashboard will be shown in the newly specified order the next time you log into the system (when not overridden by local changes).

To reset the Local Tab Order to the Global Tab Order:

NOTE: The Local Tab Order can be reset to the Global Tab Order by Customer SuperUsers only.

  1. Select Settings from the UX Admin menu (see The UX Admin Settings Menu for details).
    • The Settings menu displays.
  2. Select Staff Options.
    • The Staff Options page displays.
    • The Global Tab Order field shows a listing of all menu tabs shown in the Staff Dashboard.
    • The tabs are listed in the order in which they are displayed in the Staff Dashboard (when not overridden by local changes).
  3. Click the Save button.
    • The Local Tab Order is reset to match the Global Tab Order.
    • A “Success” message shows briefly at the top of the screen.
  4. Click the Back button Back Button, as needed, to return to the Settings panel.
  5. Click the X button to close the Settings panel.

To configure Local Staff Tab Options:

  1. Select Settings from the UX Admin menu (see The UX Admin Settings Menu for details).
    • The Settings menu displays.
  2. Select Staff Options.
    • The Staff Options page displays.
    • The Local Tab Order field shows a listing of all menu tabs shown in the Staff Dashboard.
    • The tabs are listed in the order in which they are displayed in the Staff Dashboard.
