Adding a Formats Qualifier

Use the Formats qualifier to narrow your search to materials available in a specified form or media format (Books, Visual Materials, Large Print, Microform, etc.).

To add a Formats qualifier:

1. Click the Expand Qualifier icon for the Formats qualifier to expand the qualifier options.

• The Formats list shows all formats and miscellaneous criteria for which titles are available.

2. Select the checkbox(es) next to the format(s) by which you wish to qualify your search.

   NOTE: You may select one or more formats as qualifiers.

   • A checkmark indicates the associated format will be included in search results.
   • An empty checkbox indicates that the associated format will not be included in search results.
   • Clicking a checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.
     • The Search (####) Records button refreshes to display the number of titles that will be returned by your qualified search.
3. When all desired formats have been selected, click the Collapse Qualifier icon for the Formats qualifier to collapse the qualifier options.
