Introduction - Overview

This User Guide is designed to provide a working understanding of the features and functions of Auto-Graphics' VERSO search module. VERSO search module is a powerful and versatile cross-platform search application that allows simultaneous searching of multiple selected databases (Auto-Graphics' Impact databases, Z39.50 databases, XML databases, etc.). Accessed using a standard Web browser, VERSO’s user-friendly graphical interface provides flexibility that enables the knowledge and needs of individual users to be met appropriately.

Using VERSO, you can:

Select and simultaneously search multiple databases using VERSO’s powerful search features (Quick Search, Advanced Search)
Use Search Qualifiers to narrow the scope of your search
View "hit lists" (Continuous Brief Browse Lists, Title Lists) and Full Record Displays of search results
Submit reserve requests and track current circulation status and in-process requests
Set default values for VERSO’s user-selectable options and parameters for your personal account
