Configuring “Variable Content” Data Fields
The Library Defined Field 1 through Library Defined Field 20 fields on the Configure User Record screen let you add up to twenty data fields to the User Record to suit the particular needs of your library. The "variable content" data fields may be configured as either "text" fields (see Working with Text Fields for details) or "list" (drop-down menu) fields (see Working with List Fields for details).
