Enabling/Disabling Checkout History

You can enable and disable Checkout History for your account.

To enable Checkout History:

  1. Select Your Items – Checkout History from the Your Account menu (see Using Your Account for details).
    • The Checkout History screen displays. If you have not enabled Checkout History, the screen shows the message “Your check out history is currently inactive.”

  1. Click the Activate History button.
    • An advisory dialog displays the message “By clicking OK you acknowledge that you want the library system to keep track of items that you have previously checked out.”
  2. Click the OK button to activate Checkout History for your account. (Click the Cancel button to cancel the request and leave Checkout History deactivated for your account.)
    • The message “history activated” shows briefly at the top of the screen. Your Checkout History will be saved beginning with your next checkout.
  3. To exit the Checkout History screen, select another option from the Your Account menu, or, click the Home button Home button in the screen header to return to your library’s “Home” page.

To disable Checkout History:

  1. Select Your Items – Checkout History from the Your Account menu (see Using Your Account for details).
    • The Checkout History screen displays. The screen initially shows a listing of all items checked out to your account for the current calendar year.
  2. Click the Deactivate History button.
    • An advisory dialog displays the message “Do you really want to Deactivate History? If you click OK, all previous check-out history will be deleted and cannot be recovered.”

  1. Click the OK button to deactivate Checkout History and delete your checkout history from the system. (Click the Cancel button to cancel the request and leave Checkout History activated for your account.)
    • The advisory dialog closes automatically, the screen refreshes with all Checkout History deleted, and message “history deactivated” shows briefly at the top of the screen. Your Checkout History will no longer be saved.
  2. To exit the Checkout History screen, select another option from the Your Account menu, or, click the Home button Home button in the screen header to return to your library’s “Home” page.
