Chapter 3. SEARCHING
Adding a Has OCLC Qualifier
Use the Has OCLC qualifier to narrow your search to items with bibliographic records that contain an Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) number.
To add a Has OCLC qualifier:
- Use the Yes (###) checkbox to enable or disable the Has OCLC qualifier for the search.
- A checkmark indicates the Has OCLC qualifier will be enabled for the search.
- An empty checkbox indicates the Has OCLC qualifier will not be enabled for the search.
- Clicking a checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.
NOTE: When your library’s A-G database is included in an Advanced Search, the Yes (###) initially label shows the total number of records in the database that include an OCLC number. The value shown in the field changes as you enter your “search query” to show the number of records that will be retrieved from your library’s A-G database when your search is submitted.
