Chapter 3. FUND ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE
Fund Categories
The Acquisitions module provides five “blank” fund categories that you may define as desired. The Fund Categories function lets you enter a name/description of each fund and its intended use. You may then add funding source categories to each fund.
To access Fund Categories:
- From the Acquisitions menu, select Financial Management - Fund
Categories.
- The Fund Categories screen displays. The screen shows the current name for the Level 1 through Level 5 funds.
- To change the name/description of a fund category, enter the desired name in the Level 1 through Level 5 text boxes, then click the Submit button.
- From the Fund categories screen, you may choose to add, edit or delete funding source categories (see Adding and Editing Funding Source Categories for details).
