Lost |
Requested/borrowed item has been declared lost by either borrower or
lender. You may update the status of a Lost request by selecting
the following option from the Status menu:
- Delete - This option flags the associated request for
deletion. The request is deleted during midnight processing.
- Check In – This option indicates the lost item has been found
by the lender.
- Selecting this option sets borrower’s status for the ILL request
to Complete.
-
Undo Lost – In cases
where you, as a lender, applied a Lost status to a request from a
lender’s status of Renew/Overdue, Renew Pending or
Returned, or you or a borrower applied a Lost status to a
request from a borrower’s status of Not Received, Accepted
Renewal, Recalled, Shipped, Received,
Rejected Renewal, or Overdue, this option lets you undo the
Lost status.
-
Selecting this option
returns the ILL request to its prior status. For requests returned to
a borrower’s status of Not Received, Accepted Renewal,
Recalled, Shipped, Received, Rejected Renewal,
or Overdue, the Due Date active at the time the request
was placed in Lost status is applied to the request.
NOTE: The Undo Lost
option is available for seven calendar days following the day on which
the status of the request was set to Lost.
NOTE: The Undo Lost
option is available only if the Undo Request Statuses permission
is enabled for your user account (see the
User Administration User
Guide for more information).
