Chapter 5. DESIGN OPTIONS
Setting Logo and Title Options
Use the Logo and Title function to customize the content of the “header” shown on all screens in the system.
To configure Logo and Title options:

From
the Design Options menu, select Logo and Title.
- The Logo and Title Options page displays.
- Use the Link Details options to define the mouseover text and
target page for the header link.
NOTE: The header serves as a link to your library’s “Home” page or to another specified location.
- Enter the desired mouseover text (the text displayed when the cursor is positioned over the header) in the Enter Title text box. The mouseover text can be a maximum of 100 characters, including spaces.

Enter the complete Uniform Resource Locator (URL) for the page to which you wish the header to link in the Enter Redirect Url text box. BE SURE to include http:// or https://, as appropriate, at the beginning of the Enter Redirect Url.
NOTE: To link the header to your library’s “Home” page, leave the Enter Redirect Url text box blank.
- Use the Display Select Language checkbox to enable or disable
display of the Select Language
button
in the title bar of all system screens:
NOTE: This tool lets the user choose the desired display language. The system uses Google Translate to display content in languages other than English.
- A checkmark indicates the Select Language button will be displayed in the header.
- An empty checkbox indicates the Select Language button will not be displayed in the header.
- Use the Branding Information options to specify the content for the
header. Choose the desired option from the Branding Information menu:
- Select Use Library Name to use the name of your library as defined in the system.
- Your library name displays in the “preview” field below the Branding Information menu.
- Select Use Image to use an image file as the header.
NOTE: For best results, the selected image should have a 1:6 height to width ratio.
- Click the Browse button. A standard File Upload dialog displays.
- Locate the desired image file, then click the Open button on the File Upload dialog. The file name for the selected file shows to the right of the Browse button.
In cases where the file name is excessively long, an abbreviated file name is shown.
- Click the Upload Image button to upload the selected image file. A thumbnail of the image shows in the preview area when the upload is completed.
- Select Use Custom Text to specify the text to be shown in the header.
- Enter the desired text in the Custom Text text box. The Custom Text can be a maximum of 100 characters, including spaces.
- Select Use Image and Text use an image file and custom text in the header.
NOTE: For best results, the selected image should have a 1:6 height to width ratio.
- Click the Browse button. A standard File Upload dialog displays.
- Locate the desired image file, then click the Open button on the File Upload dialog. The file name for the selected file shows to the right of the Browse button.

- Enter the desired text in the Custom Text text box. The Custom Text can be a maximum of 100 characters, including spaces.
- When all desired options have been configured, click the Save
button to save your changes.
- The message “Header Updated” shows briefly at the top of the screen.
- The screen refreshes to display your changes.
- Click the Back button , as needed, to return to the Settings menu.
- Click the X button to close the Settings menu.
