Modifying Reports Permissions

When you add a new user and assign Reports Staff permissions (see Adding a User for details), or when you click the Reports Permissions link on the Edit User Accounts screen (see Editing User Accounts for details), the Reports Permissions screen displays. The Reports Permissions screen shows the Reports permissions currently granted to the user. You may grant or deny additional permissions as desired.

To modify Reports Permissions:

Permission Definition
Report Writer Allows the user to create and manage customized User, Bibliographic and Item reports.
Run Reports Allows the user to submit requests to run Circulation reports.
View Reports Allows the user to view reports requested by any Reports Staff user.

NOTE: When you grant Run Reports and/or View Reports permissions for a user, you must configure Report Detailed Permissions to select the specific reports for which the user will be granted access (see Modifying Reports Detailed Permissions for details).
