Chapter 4. VIEWING SEARCH RESULTS
Term List
A Term List is displayed as the result of a Browse Search. The Term List displays the index heading which most closely matches your search term as the first entry in a list of headings. You can browse the Term List forward from this point.
NOTE: Browse Search is optional, and may not be enabled for all systems.
To view the Term List:
- Term List entries are arranged in alphanumeric order, by Item Call Number and include the Title and Title Count for each Item Call Number.
- Use the Records Per Page menu to specify how many entries will be
shown on each page of the list; 25, 50, 70 or 100.
- Click the Browse Search button to update the Term List according to your changes.
- Use the scroll bar to scroll through the current page display.
- Use the < Prev button and Next > button to display other pages of the Term List.
- • Each entry in the Term List serves as a link that allows you to display
additional information for the term. Click an entry to do the following:
- [1 Title] lets you view the Full Record Display for the associated term (see Full Record Display for details).
- [# Titles] lets you view a Title List for the associated term (see Title List for details).
To modify your search:
- Use the search term fields at the top of the Term List to modify your search, then click the Browse Search button.
To perform a new search:
- Use the search term fields at the top of the Term List to enter a new search, then click the Browse Search button.
