Managing Locations for Multiple Libraries
Depending on the permissions granted to your user account, you may be authorized to manage locations for your library only, or, your account may be configured to manage locations for multiple libraries within your consortium or collective.
If your user account is configured to manage locations for multiple libraries, the Locations Maintenance panel displays when you select a locations maintenance function from the Staff Functions menu (see The Staff Functions Menu for details). You must select the desired library for which you wish to perform the selected function.
To select a library for locations maintenance:
- The Locations Maintenance panel includes a Library menu that lists the library codes for all libraries for which you can manage locations.
- Select the library for which you wish to perform locations maintenance
from the Library menu.
- The panel refreshes to display the data entry fields for the selected add (see Adding a Location for details), edit (see Editing Locations for details) or delete (see Deleting Locations for details) operation.
