Managing Local Cover Images - Overview
NOTE: Local cover image support is an UPGRADE FEATURE, and may not be enabled for all systems. For more information regarding UPGRADE FEATURES, please contact your Auto-Graphics Sales Representative.
Cover images are shown in Brief Browse lists and on Full record displays (see the Search User Guide for details), as well as in Showcase Carousels (see the UX Administration User Guide for details). The system uses a comprehensive database of cover images. However, in some cases a cover image may not be available for a given title, or it may be desirable to substitute an “alternate” cover image for the system default image. The Local Cover Images options let you create and manage a database of “local” cover images (cover images specific to a selected A-G catalog for your library only). Using the Local Cover Images options, you can add a local cover image or delete a local cover image.
NOTE: Local cover images should be prepared in .jpeg format, with a height of 500 pixels.
