Chapter 1. INTRODUCTION
Organization of the User Guide
This User Guide is designed to provide an overview of the features and functions available with the Authority Control module, and includes the detailed procedures to perform Authority Control processing of bibliographic records. The User Guide is divided into two chapters, as follows:
Chapter 1 – Introduction. This chapter provides an overview of the features and functions available through Authority Control, and of the scope and contents of the User Guide.
Chapter 2 – Authority Control. This chapter provides an overview of the Authority Control processing methodology, and includes the detailed procedures to perform Authority Control processing for an active bibliographic record.
