CIRC-ILL
Chapter 7. ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
Configuring the Participant Record
Circ-ILL provides a default Participant Record for each ILL trading partner in your system. The Maintain Participant Record function lets you access, view and update participant records for each trading partner. Library staff, Library SuperUsers and Regional SuperUsers may view and update the Participant Record for their own library. Customer SuperUsers are able to view and update the Participant Record for any library.
Each participant institution is assigned a unique Institution Code (Library Code) by Auto-Graphics. An institution’s participant record contains all the reference information necessary to ensure the proper handling of interlibrary loan activities with the institution, including a participant profile, interlibrary loan (ILL) contact information, Preferred Lender List, general lending/ILL policies, operating hours, detailed ILL policy information, and links to related information. Refer to the ILL Administration User Guide for information on accessing, viewing and updating Participant Records.
