Chapter 4. DEFINING LOCATIONS AND COLLECTIONS

   

 


Adding a Location Group

You can add a new location group for your library.

To add a location group:

  1. From the Location Groups screen (see Managing Location Groups for details), click the Add Group button.
    • The Define Location Group screen displays.

  1. Enter a name for the new location group in the Group Name text box.
    • The Group Name can be a maximum of 128 characters, including spaces.

      NOTE: If you enter a Group Name greater than 128 characters, the Save button is disabled.

  2. Click Save to save the new location group. (Click Cancel to cancel the operation and discard the new location group.)
    • The system returns to the Location Groups screen with the new location group added to the list of location groups.
    • The message “Group saved” shows briefly at the top of the screen.
