Editing a Location Group Name

You can edit the group name for an existing location group for your library.

To edit a location group name:

1. From the Location Groups screen (see Managing Location Groups for details), click the Edit Location Group icon for the location group you wish to rename.
   • The Define Location Group screen displays.
   • The Group Name text box is prefilled with the current location group name.
2. Edit the Group Name as desired.
   • The Group Name can be a maximum of 128 characters, including spaces.

     If you enter a Group Name greater than 128 characters, the Save button is disabled.

3. Click Save to save your changes. (Click Cancel to discard your changes and retain the previous location group name.)
   • The system returns to the Location Groups screen with the new location group name shown in the list of location groups.
   • The message “Group saved” shows briefly at the top of the screen.
