- The Edit Branch screen displays in an additional browser window.
- Edit the branch name and status as desired:
- Edit the display sequence for the branch in the Sequence text box (see Setting the Branch Display Sequence for more information).

Edit the name of the branch in the Label text box.
NOTE: The Label cannot exceed 128 characters (including spaces).
-
Use the Hide from OPAC checkbox to indicate whether or not the branch

- Use the Do not allow reserve for this location checkbox to designate the
location as a non-reserve location.
- A checkmark indicates the branch is a non-reserve location (reserves cannot be placed for items assigned to the location). An empty checkbox indicates the branch is not a non-reserve location (reserves can be placed for items assigned to the location). Clicking the checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.
- Use the Allow Only My Patrons to Reserve for this Location

indicates
items associated with the branch can be reserved by "local" patrons
only. An empty checkbox
indicates items associated with the branch can be reserved by any
patron, regardless of Home Location affiliation. Clicking the
checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.
NOTE: The Allow Only My Patrons to Reserve for this Location option is shown only for systems employing a patron database that is "shared" among multiple libraries.

associated with the branch are allowed to “float” between branches (see
