Chapter 7. SETTING CIRCULATION PARAMETERS
Viewing Item Exception Listings
You can view a list of items associated with an item exception. You can also change the status of one or more selected items in the list.
To view an Item Exception Listing:

On the Item Exception Statistics screen (see
Viewing Item Exception
Statistics for details), click the
View Items link for the Exception
for which you wish to view the Item Exception Listing.
- The screen refreshes to display the Item Exception Listing for the item exception.
- The screen shows a list of all item exceptions defined for your library. Each line in the list shows a sequence (Seq) number, the item Barcode, and the Title and Author of the item.
- Use the scrollbar to view the current page of the list.
- If the list contains more than 100 entries, use the Previous Page and Next Page links to scroll the list forward and backward.
- To change the item status for an item:
- Use the Seq checkboxes to select the item(s) for which you wish to change
status. A checkmark
indicates the associated item is selected. An
empty checkbox
indicates the associated item is not selected. Clicking the checkbox repeatedly
will toggle it on and off. - Select the status to which you wish to change the item(s) from the Change status of checked items to menu.
- Click the Submit button to submit your changes.
- Use the Seq checkboxes to select the item(s) for which you wish to change
status. A checkmark
- If desired, you may:
- Print a copy of the Item Exception Listing (see Printing Circulation Parameters for details)
- Save a copy of the Item Exception Listing to your local workstation (see Saving Circulation Parameters for details)
- Email a copy of Item Exception Listing to yourself or another staff member (see Emailing Circulation Parameters for details)
- Click the Close button to close the Item Exception Listing.
