Chapter 6. WORKING WITH RESERVES
Deleting “Hard” Reserves
“Hard” reserves for an item may be deleted in the same manner as deleting “soft” reserves (see Deleting “Soft” Reserves for details). Additionally, “hard” reserves may be deleted using the Check In function.
To delete “hard” reserve through Check In:
- From the Circulation Main Menu, select Check In.
- The Item Check In Search screen displays.

Enter the barcode of the item you wish to check in the Enter Title or
Barcode text box.
- Enter the complete barcode.
- Click the Submit button.
- The Reserve Warning dialog displays.
- Click the Delete this reserve – Yes button to delete the “hard”
reserve. (Click the Delete this reserve – No button to close the
Reserve Warning dialog and leave the existing “hard” reserve unchanged.)
- The Reserve Warning dialog closes, and the “hard” reserve is deleted.
