Chapter 3. MANAGING PATRONS

Managing Proxies

The “Patron Proxies” function allows “proxies” to be defined to act on behalf of a given patron in the performance of certain circulation-related activities. “Patron Proxies” functionality is enabled through the Circulation Administration module. When enabled, the Edit User Account screen includes a Manage Proxies link that lets you add proxies to and delete proxies from a patron’s User Record.

NOTE: Patron Proxy functionality is optional and may not be enabled for all systems (see the Circulation Administration User Guide for more information).
