Chapter 5. VIEWING CIRCULATION HISTORY
Viewing Circulation History - Overview
Circulation History lets you view a history of your library's circulation activities for a selected day from the prior one-month period. You can view circulation history for the entire day, or for a specified period of hours during the selected day. Two reports are available:
- Checkout - Displays a list of items checked out during the specified period.
- Checkin - Displays a list of items checked in during the specified period.
To access circulation history:

select Circulation History.
- The Circulation History Report Setup screen displays.
- From the Circulation History Report Setup screen, you may choose to:
- View checkout transactions for a specified date/time period
- View checkin transactions for a specified date/time period
To submit a circulation history request:
- Select the desired report type from the Transaction Type menu; either Checkout or Checkin.
- Select the date for which you wish to view circulation history from the
Transaction Date menu.
- The Transaction Date menu shows a listing of dates for the prior one-month period.
- Use the Start Time menus to specify the starting time for the period for
which you wish to view circulation history.
- The default Start Time is 0:0:00 AM.
- Use the Stop Time menus to specify the ending time for the period for
which you wish to view circulation history.
- The default Stop Time is 11:59:00 PM.
- Select the order in which you wish transactions listed in the report to be
displayed from the Display Order menu:
- Time of Transaction - transactions are listed in chronological order, from oldest to most recent.
- Title - transactions are listed alphabetically, by title.
- Patron Name (Checkout Only) - transactions are listed alphabetically, by
the patron’s last name.
NOTE: The Patron Name (Checkout Only) option is applicable to reports for Transaction Type - Checkout only.
- Click the Submit button to submit the report request.
- The specified circulation history report displays in an additional browser window or tab.
