Removing a Patron Block
The procedures for removing a patron block depend on the block type; “soft” or “hard.”
To remove a “hard” block from a patron’s account:
- On the Patron Checkout, Status & Reserves screen for the desired patron,
click the Patron Edit button.
- The Edit User Account screen displays.
- Unselect the Blocked checkbox.
- Delete the block message from the Block Reason text box.
- Click the Submit button to save your changes.
To remove a “soft” block from a patron’s account:
- On the Patron Checkout, Status & Reserves screen for the desired patron,
click the Patron Edit button.
- The Edit User Account screen displays.
- Delete the block message from the Messages text box.
- Click the Submit button to save your changes.
