Chapter 6. WORKING WITH RESERVES
Viewing Expired Item Reserves
If your library has enabled the Assign Expired Reserve Status feature (see the Circulation Administration User Guide for details), the View Expired Item Reserves function lets you view a listing of all expired reserves for a specified pickup location.
To view expired item reserves:
-
From the Circulation menu (see
The Circulation Menu for
details), select Reserves – View Expired Item Reserves.
- The View Expired Reserves screen displays.
- Select the pickup location for which you wish to view expired reserves
from the Filter by menu.
- The screen refreshes to show a listing of expired item reserves for the selected location, in alphabetic order by Title. Each line in the list shows the Title, Author and Item Barcode of the associated title, the date on which the reserve expired (Date Expired) and the Current Patron for whom the reserve was placed.
- If desired, you can reconfigure, sort and filter list content (see the System Basics User Guide for details).
- To re-sort the list in chronologic order by expiration date, select Date Expired from the Sort by menu. To re-sort the list in alphabetic order by Current Patron, select Requestor from the Sort by menu.
To print the expired reserves list:
- Click the Print button.
- A standard Print dialog displays.
- Make the desired selections on the Print dialog, then click the OK or Print button, as applicable. (Click the Cancel button to cancel the print request.)
