Chapter 2. CHECK OUT AND CHECK IN
Viewing Notices History
You can view a list of notices sent to the currently active patron.
To view notices history:

Click the Notices History button.
- The Notice History screen displays.
Notice History Screen
- The Notice History screen provides the following information for each entry
in the list:
- Item Barcode – the barcode of the item for which the notice was sent
- Transaction Date – the date of the transaction
- Notice Type – the type of notice sent
- Status – an indication of whether or not the notice was successfully transmitted to the patron
- Notification Method – the method by which the notice was delivered to the patron
- PNS REF NO. – the PNS reference number
To sort notices history:
- Position the cursor on the column head by which you wish to sort the list,
then click the
icon.
- The sort options menu displays.
- Select the desired sort option:
- Select Sort Ascending to sort the list in alphanumeric (for Item Barcode or PNS REF. NO.), chronological (for Transaction Date) or alphabetic (for Notice Type, Status, or Notification Method) order.
- Select Sort Descending to sort the list in reverse-alphanumeric (for Item Barcode or PNS REF. NO.), reverse-chronological (for Transaction Date) or reverse-alphabetic (for Notice Type, Status, or Notification Method) order.
- Select Remove Sort to remove the sort key and return to the default sort order.
To print notices history:
- If desired, sort the list.
- Scroll the list until the information you wish to print is shown on the screen.
- Click the Print button.
- A “snapshot” of the current page of the Notice History screen displays, and a standard Print dialog opens.
- Print the page using the standard procedures for your web browser.
To exit notices history:
- Click the Close button to close the Notice History screen and return to the Patron History page.
