Expired Patrons

Purpose:  Provides a list of all patrons with expired dates.

Default Filename:

EXPIRED_PATRON_LIST_(date)_(ID number).xls

Report Parameters:

• Patron Category (drop-down menu) – determines which patrons will be included in the report based on the patron category to which they are assigned; select All to list all library patrons, or select a category to list only those patrons who are assigned to the selected category.

  NOTE: The Patron Category menu lists all available patron categories for your library. Patron categories are established by your Library Administrator.

• Cutoff Date (text box) – determines the cutoff date for the report; all patrons with an expiration date prior to the Cutoff Date specified will be included in the report. Enter the desired date using the format MM/DD/YYYY, i.e., "03/10/2001".

  NOTE: Be sure to include the slashes "/" when entering the Cutoff Date. Do not include alphabetic characters when entering the Cutoff Date.

  • You may also click the Date Entry Calendar icon next to the date entry text box to select a Cutoff Date using the Date Entry Calendar (see the System Basics User Guide for details).
• Limit by Group (drop-down menu) – determines which patrons will be included in the report based on the patron group with which they are associated; select All to list all patrons, or select a group to list only those patrons who are associated with the selected group.

  NOTE: The Limit by Group menu lists all available patron groups for your library. Patron groups are established by your Library Administrator.

To view the Expired Patrons report:

NOTE: See Viewing and Downloading Reports to download and/or open the report for viewing.

The name of the report, the RUN DATE, and a summary of report parameters are shown at the top of the report. The Expired Patrons report provides the following information for each patron included in the listing:

• The Expiration Date for the patron
• The patron’s Barcode
• The Last Name, First Name and middle Initial of the patron
• The patron’s current FineBalance and current number of Checkouts
• The patron’s contact information (Phone number and Email address)
• The patron’s mailing address (Address1, Address2, City, State, Zip)
• The Patron Category and Patron Group to which the patron is assigned
