Chapter 3. ITEM REPORTS
In Transit Items
Purpose: Provides a list of items “in transit” between library branches. The report can be generated for all destination locations or for a single. Selected destination location.
Default Filename:
IN_TRANSIT_ITEMS_(date)_(ID number).XLSX
In Transit Items Screen
Report Parameters:

Select Status (drop-down menu) – determines the items to be included in
the report based on current item status; select In Transit, Reserve In Transit
or Both.
NOTE: When Both is selected, separate reports are generated for In Transit items and Reserve In Transit items.
- Select Destination Location (drop-down menu) – determines the
destination location (branch) that will be included in the report; select
the desired location.
NOTE: The Select Destination Location menu lists all branches that have been defined for your system. Locations are defined by your Library Administrator.
- Select All Locations to generate the report for all destination branches.
- Select a single branch to generate the report for the selected branch only.
- Order By (drop-down menu) – determines the order in which the report will be sorted; select Title or Call Number.
To view the In Transit Items report:

The name of the report, the run date, and a summary of report parameters are shown at the top of the report. The Items In Transit report provides the following information for each title included in the listing:
Items In Transit Report
- The Item Barcode, Call Number, Title and Author of the title
- The Destination Location for the title
- The current Status of the title
- The date and time at which the title was placed in transit (Date Placed)
- The location from which the title was placed in transit (Location Placed)
To view the Items Reserve In Transit report:

The name of the report, the RUN DATE, and a summary of report parameters are shown at the top of the report. The Items In Transit report provides the following information for each title included in the listing:
Items Reserve In Transit Report
- The Barcode, Title, Author and Call number of the title
- The current Status of the title
- The Current Location of the title
- The Destination Location for the title
- The date and time at which the title was placed in transit (Date Assigned)
- The Location that placed item in transit
- The Patron Barcode and Patron name of the patron for whom the reserve was placed
