Chapter 2. PATRON REPORTS
Patron Listing
Purpose: Provides an alphabetic list of patrons for your library based on the Patron Category selected.
Default Filename:
PATRON_LIST_(date)_(ID number).XLSX
Patron Listing Screen
Report Parameters:

Patron Category (drop-down menu) – determines which patrons will be
included in the report based on the patron category to which they are assigned;
select All to list all library patrons, or select a category to list
only those
patrons who are assigned to the selected category.
NOTE: The Patron Category menu lists all available patron categories for your library. Patron categories are established by your Library Administrator.
- Limit by Group (drop-down menu) – determines which patrons will be
included in the report based on the patron group with which they are associated;
select All to list all patrons, or select a group to list only those patrons who
are associated with the selected group.

- Limit By (radio buttons/text boxes) – determines which patrons will
be included in the report based on the date the patron’s record was
initially created or most recently modified; select the Creation
Date or Modified Date radio button, as appropriate, then enter the
desired From (start) and To (end) dates for the report period.
Enter the desired dates using the format MM/DD/YYYY, i.e., “01/02/2019”.
NOTE: Be sure to include the slashes “/” when entering the From and To dates. Do not include alphabetic characters when entering the From and To dates.

end date using the Date Entry Calendar (see the
System Basics User Guide
for details).

- Order By (drop-down menu) – determines the key by which the report will be sorted; select Patron Category, Patron Barcode or Patron Last Name.
To view the Patron Listing report:
NOTE: See Viewing and Downloading Reports to download and/or open the report for viewing.
The name of the report, the run date, and a summary of report parameters are shown at the top of the report. The Patron Check-Out Listing report provides the following information for each title included in the listing:

All fields available for inclusion in the User Record (not all fields are shown in the accompanying illustration)

The total amount of fines and fees currently owed by the patron (Total Owed)
-
The date on which the most recent fine or fee was assessed against the patron’s account (Most recent fee added)
-
The Last Activity Date for the patron
