Assigning AGCat/Holdings Maintenance Permissions
NOTE: AGCat Permissions are available only if your library has purchased the optional AGCat module.
You may define which libraries within a consortium or collective are authorized to perform cataloging maintenance activities using AGCat and/or the CAT Administration module. Additionally, you may set the specific upload/update permissions for each selected library.
The specific cataloging functions a library is allowed to perform within the union database are based on the upload permissions granted to the library. The upload permissions determine the type of information the library can upload to the database (bibliographic and/or holdings) and the libraries for which database maintenance can be performed (their library only, selected libraries or all libraries).
