Deleting Resource Descriptions

You can delete an existing database description from a resource.

NOTE: You must be logged in as a Customer SuperUser or Library SuperUser to delete database descriptions from system-level resources. Library SuperUsers and PAC Staff members can delete database descriptions from resources defined at the local level.

To delete a resource description:

  1. Access the Search Resources screen (see Viewing Search Resources for details).
  2. Click the Edit link to the right of the resource for which you wish to delete the database description.
    • The Resource Configuration screen displays.
  3. Scroll down to the Define Resource description heading.
  4. Clear the fields for the database description, then click the Submit button.
