Editing a Hotlink

You can edit an existing MARC tag in the Record Display Hotlinks list.

To edit a hotlink:

1. From the PAC Admin menu (see The PAC Admin Menu for details), select Record Display Hotlinks.
   • The Record Display Hotlinks screen displays.
   • The screen shows a listing, in MARC Tag order, of all currently defined hotlinks.
2. Edit the MARC Tag, Subfield Mapping, Subfields, Type, Display to Staff and Display to Patron parameters for the desired hotlink(s) as desired (see Adding a Hotlink for details).
3. When all desired changes to hotlink parameters have been made, click the Submit button to submit your changes.
   • The Record Display Hotlinks screen refreshes to display your changes.

     NOTE: If you enter an invalid MARC tag in the MARC Tag text box, the message “Invalid MARC Tag” displays when you click the Submit button. Click the OK button to close the message, and enter a valid MARC tag in the MARC Tag text box.
