Managing Facets
The Facets Management function lets you configure the options available through the Filter Your Results menus shown on all search results screens.
To manage facets:

From the Search and Results options menu, select Facets Management.
- The Facet Management page displays.
- The Facet Management page shows listings of all facets by which search results can be filtered. Separate lists are shown for Patron/Guest users and library Staff. Facets are listed in the order in which they appear on search results screens.
- Use the checkboxes to enable or disable display of the
associated facet for Patron/Guest users and library Staff.
- A checkmark indicates display of the associated facet is enabled (the facet will be included on search results screens).
- An empty checkbox indicates display of the associated facet is disabled (the facet will not be included on search results screens).
- Clicking a checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.
- If desired, use the text field associated with a facet to enter a new display name for the facet.
- To rearrange the order in which facets are listed on the search results
screen:
- Position the cursor on the Move Tab icon for the facet you wish to move.
- Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag the facet to the desired position in the list.
- Repeat as necessary to reposition additional facets.
- When all desired changes have been made, click the Submit Patron/Guest
Facets and/or Submit Staff Facets button(s) to save your changes.
- The message “Success” shows briefly at the top of the screen.
- Click the Back button , as needed, to return to the Settings menu.
- Click the X button to close the Settings menu.
