Chapter 4. WORKING WITH PAGES AND WIDGETS

Working with Widgets

The Create a New Widget option lets you create “carousel” widgets for display on pages outside the RESEARCHit / SHAREit / VERSO system. Widgets are displayed in an inline frame (iframe) on the external page. When you create a widget, the system generates an HTML code “snippet” for retrieving the widget that can be copied and pasted into an external web page. Currently, one type of Widget is available:

To create a new Widget:

  1. From the Pages and Widgets menu (see Creating and Editing Pages for details), select Create a Page Link.
    • The Create New Widget panel displays.
