Catalog Maintenance
The Catalog Maintenance function lets you locate bibliographic records in your library’s main catalog for the purpose of performing catalog maintenance activities (adding or editing a MARC record, adding or editing item records, etc.).
- Using Catalog Maintenance, you can:
- Search your library’s main catalog by title, author, barcode or standard identifier
- View the Full Record Display for a selected title
- Add a new bibliographic record
- Edit an existing bibliographic record
- Manage items for a selected title
- Add a new item record
- Edit an existing item record
To access Catalog Maintenance:
- Select Catalog Maintenance from the CAT Admin menu.
- The Catalog Search screen displays.
