Chapter 4. MARC IMPORT AND EXPORT
Viewing Bib Tool Run Statistics
The View Bib Tool Run Statistics screen provides a summary of the BibTool Run Configuration parameters for the upload, and includes statistical information related to uploaded records. Click the Status link for the desired Bib Tool run to view statistics. The View Bib Tool Run Statistics screen provides the following information:
- Processed Date shows the date and time at which the upload file was queued for processing.
- Input file name shows the full path and file name of the upload file.
- Process Message shows the name of the Item Generation Name (Holds
Mapping) parameter and a summary of the Matching Definition parameters (as
defined for the selected Matching ID specified during Bib Tool Run Configuration
setup.
NOTE: If None was selected for the Holds Mapping and/or Matching ID parameter, the message is not defined is displayed for the associated field.
- Database type of load shows the type of database to which the records were uploaded.
- Holds Mapping Used shows the name of the Holds Mapping parameter
specified during Bib Tool Run Configuration setup.
NOTE: If None was selected for the Holds Mapping parameter, the field is blank.
- Matching ID Used shows the name of the Mapping ID parameter specified
during Bib Tool Run Configuration setup.
NOTE: If None was selected for the Mapping ID parameter, the field is blank.
- Incremental Indexing turned on indicates whether incremental indexing was active for the upload, either Yes or No.
- Default Item status with item tag shows the default status applied to all records in the upload file that included an item tag.
- Default Item status without item tag shows the default status applied to all records in the upload file that did not include an item tag.
- Always replace matched MARC Record shows whether existing MARC records currently in the database for which a matching record was present in the upload file were updated by the uploaded record, either Yes or No.
- MARC records matched but not updated if the Always replace matched MARC records option was set to No during Bib Tool Run Configuration setup, shows the number of MARC records currently in the database for which a matching record was present in the upload file that were not updated by the uploaded record(s).
- Records Input shows the total number of records contained in the upload file.
- Records Rejected shows the total number of records that were rejected (not imported or updated).
- Records Processed shows the total number of records that were successfully processed. Click the View Titles List link to view a list of all titles processed (see Viewing the Titles List for details).
- Records Self Matched shows the number of duplicate records contained in the upload file.
- Records Inserted shows the total number of new records added to the database.
- Records Updated shows the number of existing MARC records currently in the database that were updated by records contained in the upload file.
- AGControlId not matched shows the number of uploaded MARC records that did not match an existing A-G Control ID.
- Items Added shows the total number of item records added to the database.
- Auto Generated Barcodes shows whether the system automatically assigned barcodes to uploaded records, either Yes or No.
- Barcodes Generated if the Auto Generate Barcodes option was selected during Bib Tool Run Configuration setup, shows the total number of barcodes generated, followed by a listing of the generated barcodes in parentheses.
- Duplicate Barcodes shows the total number of records in the upload file with duplicate barcodes to existing records in the database, and includes a link to a file containing a listing of the duplicate barcodes.
- System Generated Items shows the total number of item records generated by the system for uploaded MARC records.
