Chapter 2. REPORTS
Top Circulated Titles
Purpose: Provides a list of the top circulated book titles for the current year-to-date. The report is intended to provide insight into high demand titles.
Report Parameters:
Circulation – Top Circulated Titles Screen
- Library (drop-down menu) – determines the library for which the
report will be generated; select All Libraries to generate the report
for all libraries in your system, or, select one or more
individual libraries, as desired.
- A checkmark
indicates the associated library is selected. An checkbox
indicates the associated library is not selected. Clicking a checkbox
repeatedly will toggle it on and off.
- A checkmark
- Branch (drop-down menu) – determines the branch for which the
report will be generated; select All Branches to generate the report
for all branches for the current Library selections, or, select
one or more individual branches, as desired.
NOTE: The Branch menu lists all branches defined for the current Library selection(s).

indicates the associated branch is selected. An checkbox
indicates the associated branch is not selected. Clicking a checkbox
repeatedly will toggle it on and off.

- Date Range (drop-down menu) – determines the time period for which the report will be generated; select This Year, Last Year, 2 Years Ago, or Combined (This Year, Last Year and 2 Years Ago), as desired.
- Number of Results (drop-down menu) – determines the maximum number of titles returned; select 10, 25, 50 or 100, as desired.
- Material Type (drop-down menu) – determines the material type for
which the report will be generated; select All Material Types to
generate the report for all material types, or, select one or more
individual material types, as desired.
NOTE: The Material Type menu lists all material types defined for your system.

indicates the associated material type is not selected. Clicking a
checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.

- Collection (drop-down menu) – determines the collection for which
the report will be generated; select All Collections to generate the
report for all collections for the current Library and Branch
selections, or, select one or more individual collections, as desired.
NOTE: The Collections menu lists all collections defined for the current Library and Branch selection(s)

indicates the associated collection is selected. An checkbox
indicates the associated collection is not selected. Clicking a
checkbox repeatedly will toggle it on and off.

To view the Circulation – Top Circulated Titles report:
The report provides the following information for each title included in the listing:
Circulation – Top 30 Titles Report
- The sequence number (#) for the title
- The Material Type for the title
- The Title and Author of the title
- The total number of Check-outs for the title during the current year-to-date
