Chapter 9. REPORTS
Order History
Purpose: Generates a listing of order transactions matching the specified report criteria.
Default Filename:
ACQ_ORDERHISTORY_(date)_(ID number).xls
Report Parameters:
Order History Data Entry Screen
- Transaction Type (drop-down menu) –determines which orders will be included in the report based on the most recent transaction for the order; select All to list all orders regardless of transaction type, or select a specific transaction type to list only those orders for which the selected transaction type was the most recent transaction for the order.
- User (drop-down menu) – determines which orders will be included in the report based on the user that created the order; select All to list all orders regardless of the creator, or select a specific user to list only those orders created by the selected user.
- Start Date (text box) – determines the earliest creation date for which
orders will be included in the report; enter the desired date using the format
MM/DD/YYYY, i.e., "03/15/2014".
NOTE: Be sure to include the slashes “/” when entering the Start Date. Do not include alphabetic characters when entering the Start Date.

using the Date Entry Calendar (see the

Basic User Guide for details).

- End Date (text box) – determines the latest creation date for which orders
will be included in the report; enter the desired date using the format MM/DD/YYYY,
i.e., "03/15/2014".
NOTE: Be sure to include the slashes “/” when entering the End Date. Do not include alphabetic characters when entering the End Date.

the Date Entry Calendar (see the
System Basic
User Guide for details).

- Order By (drop-down menu) – determines the key by which the report will be sorted; select the desired sort order.
NOTE: The report will be generated for the specified period, inclusive of the Start Date and End Date.

The name of the report, the RUN DATE, and a summary of report parameters are shown at the top of the report. The Order History report provides the following information for each entry in the list:
Order History Report
- The Fiscal Year with which the order is associated
- The Order Number and Order Type
- The Title, Author, and International Standard Book Number (ISBN) of the item(s) on order
- The Transaction Date of the associated transaction
- The Transaction Status and Transaction Details for the associated transaction
- The Number of Copies of the title included in the order
- The Total Cost for all copies of the title included in the order
- The date and time at which the order was created (Date Order Created)
- The User Name of the staff member that created the order
