Setting Up Reserve Notices
You can create three email notices to provide patron notification related to reserve requests, as follows:
- Reserve Pickup Notice – this notice is selectively sent to the patron using the Patron Reports – Reserve Pickup Notices option or Patron Reports – Global Reserve Pickup Notices option when an item for which a hard reserve has been placed is available for pickup (see the Circulation Reports User Guide for details).
- Soft Reserve Cancelled Notice – this notice is sent to the patron in the event a soft reserve for an item has been cancelled.
- Hard Reserve Cancelled Notice – this notice is sent to the patron in the event a hard reserve for an item has been cancelled.
