Adding and Editing Search Sources
You can add a new search source that may be selectively included (at the local level) in the Resources menu available through the Search interface. Search sources may be added at either the system level or the local level. The procedure for adding search sources is identical for both the system and local levels, the only difference being the libraries to which the added source is available:
- System-Wide Search Sources. Search sources defined at the system-wide level are available to all libraries within a consortium or collective.
- Local-Level Search Sources. Search sources defined at the local level are available only to the library for which they were defined (refer to Chapter 4, MANAGING RESOURCES for details).
