Deleting a System-Wide Resource
You may delete a system-wide resource only if the resource is not active (has not been selected by any library in your consortium or collective). System-wide resources are deleted from the system-wide Public Search Resources screen (see Viewing System-Wide Resources for details).
NOTE: Take care when deleting system-wide resources to avoid deleting reference sources. If a reference source is inadvertently deleted, the reference source can be restored only by Auto-Graphics personnel.
To delete a system-wide resource:
- From the system-wide Public Search Resources screen, click the Delete
icon to the
left of the name of the search source you wish to delete.
- A confirmation dialog displays the message "Do you want to delete (search source name)?".
- Click the OK button to delete the resource. (Click the Cancel button to
leave the resource intact.)
- The system-wide Search Sources screen refreshes to display your changes.
