Editing Database Descriptions

You can edit an existing database description for a resource.

NOTE: You must be logged in as a Customer SuperUser or Library SuperUser to edit database descriptions for system-level resources. Library SuperUsers and PAC Staff members can edit database descriptions for resources defined at the local level.

To edit database descriptions:

  1. Access the Search Resources screen (see Viewing Search Resources for details).
  2. Click the Edit link to the right of the resource for which you wish to edit a database description.
    • The Resource Configuration screen displays.
  3. Scroll to the Define Resource description heading and add or edit information in the database description as desired (see Adding a Database Description for details).
  4. When all desired information has been entered, click the Submit button to save your changes to the database description.
