Deleting Matching Sets

You can delete a matching set from your database.

To delete a matching set:

  1. From the CAT Admin menu, select MARC Import - Matching Sets Admin.
    • The BibTool Matching Criteria Setup screen displays. The screen shows a listing of currently defined matching sets, in alphabetic order, by Matching Set Name.
  2. Click the Delete link for the matching set you wish to delete.
    • A confirmation dialog displays the message “Are you sure you want to delete this record?”
  3. Click the OK button to complete the deletion. (Click the Cancel button to cancel the deletion and leave the matching set unchanged.)
    • The BibTool Matching Criteria Setup screen refreshes with the deleted matching set removed from the list.
