Chapter 4. MARC IMPORT AND EXPORT

Modifying Call Number Prefixes and Suffixes

The Modify Call Number Prefix Table and Modify Call Number Suffix Table functions let you map call number prefixes/suffixes contained in MARC records to be uploaded to the appropriate prefixes/suffixes used by your library. You may also edit the parameters for an existing prefix/suffix map or delete an existing prefix/suffix map from the table. Call number prefixes and suffixes are mapped in a similar manner.

NOTE: The Modify Call Number Prefix Table and/or Modify Call Number Suffix Table links are active only when values have been mapped for Call Number Prefix and/or Call Number Suffix, as applicable.
