Chapter 2. REPORTS
Submitting Report Requests
The general procedure for submitting a report request applies to all available reports, the only difference being the specific parameters you must specify or select for a given report. Use the following procedure to prepare and submit a report request.
To submit a report request:
-
From the Statistics menu, select Reports (new).
- The Reports screen displays. The screen is configured as a “two-pane” display.
- The left pane contains the Reports menu, which shows a listing of categories and reports. If you have specified at least one “favorite” report (see Managing Favorite Reports for details), a Favorites menu is shown at the top of the left pane.
- Click the Expand Menu icon for a module to show the available reports for the module. (Click the Collapse Menu icon to hide the available reports for the module.)
- Reports configured as “favorite” reports are identified by a Favorited icon .
- The right pane shows:
- A “carousel” of Featured Reports (the six most recently added reports). The carousel scrolls automatically every few seconds. Alternately, you can use the scroll buttons to scroll the carousel manually.
- Your Favorite Reports (see Managing Favorite Reports for details). Reports configured as “favorite” reports are identified by a Remove from Favorites icon that allows for removal of the “favorite” designation from the associated report.
- Select the report you wish to run from the Reports menu, or, click the
Run Report button for a report in the Featured Reports pane.
- The Data Entry screen for the selected report displays.
- Enter or select the desired report parameters using the drop-down menus
provided.
NOTE: Required fields are indicated by an asterisk “*” following the field name.
- Click the Run Report button on the Data Entry screen.
NOTE: If you have omitted a mandatory field, the Run Report button is "greyed out" (inactive). Modify the report parameters as necessary, then click the Run Report button to resubmit your request.
- The screen refreshes to display the report. Reports may be viewed “on-screen” in HTML format, and may be downloaded in PDF format to a local workstation (see Downloading Reports to download the report to a local workstation).
