Adding a Resource Group

You can add a new resource group to the Resource Groups list.

To add a resource group:

  1. From the PAC Admin menu (see The PAC Admin Menu for details), select Modify Resource Groups.
    • The Define Resource Groups screen displays.

  1. Enter a name for the new resource group in the Add A New Resource Group text box.
    • The resource group name may be a maximum of 50 characters, including spaces.
  2. Click the Submit button to add the new resource group.
    • The Define Resource Groups screen refreshes with the added resource group shown as the last entry in the list, and the message “Completed!” displays in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add additional resource groups.

NOTE: Once a resource group has been added, you must define the resources that will be available to the resource group (see Defining Resources for a Resource Group for details) and select the libraries that will be associated with the resource group (see Defining Libraries for a Resource Group for details).
