Modifying Resource Groups
By default, all Public Search Resources configured for a consortium or collective are available for use by libraries within the consortium when configuring their Resources menus. The Modify Resource Groups function allows selected libraries to be limited to a subset of available Public Search Resources by associating the libraries with defined resource groups. Using Modify Resource Groups, you can:
- Add a new resource group
- Edit an existing resource group
- Delete a resource group
- Assign resources to a resource group
- Associate libraries with a resource group
- Change a Resource name for a resource group
NOTE: The Modify Resource Groups function is applicable to RESEARCHit/SHAREit systems only. The Modify Resource Groups function is not available for VERSO systems.
