Modifying User Permissions
When you add a new Staff user, depending on the specific group(s) to which a Staff user is assigned, an Add User Permissions screen may display when you submit the record. Additionally, if your library uses the optional Circ-ILL functionality, you can edit patron records (see Editing User Accounts for details) to configure ILL permissions for patrons. Assign permissions to the user as appropriate:
- Patrons – see Configuring ILL Permissions for Patrons
- Acquisitions Staff - see Modifying Acquisitions Permissions
- CAT Staff - see Modifying AGCat Permissions, Modifying Web HLD Permissions, Modifying Translate/Authority Preferences, and Modifying CAT Admin Permissions
- Circulation Admin - see Modifying Circulation Administration Permissions
- Circulation Staff - see Modifying Circulation Permissions and Modifying Patron Status & Checkout Detailed Permissions
- ILL Staff - see Modifying ILL Permissions
- Reports Staff - see Modifying Reports Permissions
- Serials Staff - see Modifying Serials Permissions
- Statistics - see Modifying Statistics Permissions
When you add a new Patron user, it may be necessary to edit ILL permissions for the user (see Configuring ILL Permissions for Patrons).
